Since becoming director in 1998, Mark has seen many changes in design trends. His love for things that look stylish, coupled with his extensive knowledge of the print and design world, makes him well placed to offer advice on marketing strategies and tips to big companies and budding entrepreneurs alike – and he makes a half decent slice of toast, too!
Lou joined us in 1996, and her passion for all things design has helped her rise from designer to creative director. This experience gives Lou an unparalleled knowledge of what makes all our clients happy and she is always on hand to ensure briefs are being met, as well as being well placed to plan and implement effective design ideas and strategies.

As another of Theme Group’s creative directors, Jo’s wealth of design knowledge and ability, coupled with passions for art, jewellery making and the organic, means she will always find to a way to add her natural creativity on every project she is involved in.
Goldie is known for his all-consuming interest in anything design-related, whether spending his time keeping up to speed with the latest trends, or unearthing great examples of design from the past – how else can we explain his vast collection of sought-after nightclub flyers from the 90s?
When it comes to a keen eye for detail and colour co-ordination, Amy really comes out top. This insistence on perfection is not just in evidence in all of her work, but also in the fact you’ll never see Amy wearing any outfit that’s been put together without the utmost thought – even her socks and scarves match her t-shirts!
Marcus displays a love of art in all he does, whether producing work that exceeds expectations or taking photographs and painting portraits and landscapes in his free time. It even extends to his passion for Nike trainers, American muscle cars and watches – if something’s well designed, you can bet Marcus will be a fan.
Despite being the youngest designer, it’s the old that sparks Emily’s interest - she is a big fan of retro, from her collection of old cameras to her authentic gramophone. Emily may be our newest designer, but she has been a perfect fit by bringing her fresh take on design trends to the studio.
Nick handles all things written, whether it’s creating a strapline or proofreading artwork before going to print. His ability to write creative copy, as well as develop a tone of voice to best target your audience, make him ideally placed to craft your content.
Lil Lou has a real love of organisation, making her the best person to support the creative directors with the day-to-day functioning of the studio and ensuring our beautiful garden area is kept in tip-top condition. It also makes her the most qualified to sort out the social side of Theme – from charity events and staff functions to the obligatory fish and chip Friday!
It’s always a tough life for Ghost when he comes to the office with his daddy. Because when Mark’s Weimaraner isn’t hard at work pacing around the studio looking for someone to tickle his belly, you can either find him curled up in his giant bed or enjoying a walk in the park with Lil Lou!
