Brochure Design - DHL

Who they are

DHL is one of the world's leading courier services, providing national and international delivery of packages and documents to more than 200 countries. Their book delivery service was tasked with the storage, protection and delivery of all the Harry Potter books prior to their launch.

What they wanted

DHL wanted to advertise their book delivery service at the London Book Show. The show would be attended by all sorts of book industry workers, from publishers to booksellers, so DHL wanted a clever, eye-catching way of showing off their full book service.

What we did

We came up with the full concept, and the idea of doing the direct mail and brochure along a book theme.

Bookmarks featuring an event invite and entry to a competition were sent out to prospective show attendees. The promotional material was then fitted in a box that looked like a DHL yellow, leather-bound book. The brochure content was split into chapters instead of their usual titles.

The campaign highlighted their book service in a unique way, but still maintained the strong DHL branding.

What happened next

As well as handling numerous DHL mailers and staff schemes, we have been asked to revamp their annual price and service guide.
