Today, Bill, Theme's Director of Sales and myself spent an enjoyable morning visiting Matilda from TNS Research International at their London head office as we delivered her prize of cake (pictured), a box of very large muffin cakes and a healthy basket of fruit.
Matilda was the successful winner of our "who's the fatty" competition from our latest newsletter.
Her eyes were popping out as she saw all her lovely cakes, but I did have a feeling the fruit won't be getting a look in!! Her work colleagues seemed just as pleased and as we left the queue to bag one of the cakes was growing, even the building receptionist grabbed one. However I don't think any of them were fooled by my story that I had been up all night baking the muffins, can't think why.
Thank you Matilda for entering - Bill and I hope you enjoyed your prize.

Thoresby Terriers' Richard Jee has claimed his second manager of the month award in a row and started to open up a slender lead at the top of the Theme Dream table.
The Terriers won the award last month after slowly climbing up the table, finally replacing runaway leaders Hectors Heroes at the top and winning the manager of the month award in the process.
The Heroes, led by Royal Holloway's Natalie Dobson, briefly rallied and regained first, but the Terriers' monthly total of 470 points managed to see them end the month back in the driving seat.
Although he is being run close at the head of the table, it was actually a mid-table minnow who gave him the closest run - Denwal Dinosaurs racked up 466 points over the month, falling just short of the Terriers total.
They were followed by ICT United on 448 points and Hectors Heroes and Rookie Rangers, with 447 points each.
So the top five are:

In this month's e-newsletter we offered prizes for both the fatty in you, and the skinny - the perfect answer to all of you still struggling with your new year resolution to lay off the goodies, cakes and junk food.
We had many entries (we'd like to think they're all the healthy ones after the fruit, but it's more likely people giving in to temptation!), and the eventual winner was Matilda Gaisie from TNS. We will be in touch shortly to arrange deliveries of her treats, both healthy and non-healthy!

Everyone at The Old Chapel was very glad to welcome Will Hannah and Jason Abbott from Blue Rainbow Apartments yesterday.
The pair had been in London over the weekend and thought it would be the ideal chance to come and see us - and everything we have done on the building during our refurb.
And considering they have been through the refurbishment rigmarole on a larger scale with their apartment blocks in Manchester and Edinburgh, they know what we have gone through!
But both were incredibly impressed with the look and feel of studio - high praise indeed considering their own high standards.
Will and Jason also took the opportunity to catch up with the SEO work we have been doing for them since the end of last year - a project which has seen a steady increase in their keyword positions as well as a boost in visitors.

No-one was more chuffed than me on Christmas morning to discover tickets for the one and only Cirque du Soleil (thanks Mike)! It has long been an ambition of mine to see them perform and on Friday I wasn't disappointed.
From beginning to end the performers, from nearly forty different countries, mesmirised the audience at the Royal Albert Hall. The show was captivating with explosions of colour, live music and fantastic feats. The story of Varekai, meaning "wherever" in the Romany language of the gypsies, embraced the spirit of the circus tradition and was set in a magical forest full of fantastical creatures.
I was in awe of the very talented cast, particularly breathtaking were the aerial artists who flew high above the audience demonstrating such power and precision timing. And I must pay tribute to the many designers involved in the production of the show – from stage design, to costume and make up design, the overall result was stunning!
I would totally recommend it and so would Lil' Lou and Amy who are BIG Cirque du Soleil fans and also saw the show last week!
