British summertime at last - it's hot, it's muggy, and the only solution available to the girl about town is to go to work topless.

Or so it seemed when we all arrived in work Wednesday morning to see what appeared to be a naked Lil Lou perched happily behind her desk.

But the initial shock was replaced by a mix of relief and disappointment when it turned out she was wearing a low cut boob tube, and was merely sitting at a great height for a photo opportunity!

TAG Heuer - The Duel

A rather tasty example of what can be achieved dropped into my inbox this morning from the folks at TAG Heuer.

As a TAG fan, I am on their mailing list and was already aware of The Duel, TAG's competition to pick a winner between Lewis Hamilton and Steve McQueen's character in Le Mans.

Well on Friday, they sent through the answer in all its glory. The result, an incredibly well put together video blending Hamilton effortlessly into the 70s classic Le Mans, is stunning.

Ok, the dubbing is a little bit suspect, and the person voicing McQueen is not the most convincing sound-alike, but as far as the graphics go it's doubtless a great piece of work. Hamilton has been made as grainy as the film, giving an impression that he is truly there rather than in front of a greenscreen.

The video ends with McQueen handing over his original Monaco watch to the victorious Hamilton, who rejects in favour of his shiny new Monaco LS - in itself a superb piece of design.

We think the video - and the watches showcased at the end of it - are great examples of good design.

Theme Group - a winner at Ascot!

Every year, the residents of Ascot prepare to have hoards of crazy racegoers descend upon them for Royal Ascot - and this year they had the added terror of a visit from Theme Group.

Several of the team – Lil Lou, Sarah, Bill, Nick and me - went to the famous venue on Saturday, along with family and friends.

Much fun was had by all - aside from a horrific sight spotted by Nick, which he swore never to talk about again before proceeding to tell everyone in the group at least once, maybe twice.

He has since told everyone who didn't go to Ascot, too, having decided it's a good story that needs to be told. He also insists he would never have decided not to tell the story. And that he was sober. Liar.

Betting success within the group was mixed, ranging from Nick's friend Roo, who won nothing, through to Sarah's dad who took home a very healthy total.

And at the end of the day, as everyone went their separate ways home and Ascot was safe again, we headed off to reminisce about a great day - and to start planning for next year's event.
